When a bathhouse in east China started catching on fire, naked bathers bolted without stopping to grab their clothes.
The nude guests did their best to cover themselves as they watched the flames consume the bathhouse in Leqing, Zhejiang province, reported the Daily Mail.

“There was no time to get my clothes. I just ran for my life,” one bather said.
“One minute I was soaking in the tub, the next I could smell smoke and hear screams,” one customer said, according to the Daily Mail. “There was no time to get my clothes. I just ran for my life.”

The fire, which reportedly started at a neighboring apartment before it engulfed the entire block, killed one and injured six.

Naked bathers fled to the streets to escape the flames.
“The fire spread very rapidly and we were lucky that more people didn’t die,” a Leqing fire official said.

The fire spread so quickly that buff bathers didn’t have time to get their clothes.
