According to TMZ, the family of the late Michael Clarke Duncan‘s wants authorities to investigate his former girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault. The family seems to think that Omarosa tricked Michael into changing his will just a few months before his death. According to TMZ, the will leaves nearly everything to her.
Judy Duncan, the sister of Mr. Duncan, says that she has hired an attorney to find out what happened right before her brother died. She most specifically wants to know if her brother was of sound mind when he agreed to allow Omarosa to have so much. The family says that his will was rewritten in April, 2012, right before he died.
Judy says that months before her brother’s death, he was stumbling and slurring his words. She says that even as Duncan lay in the hospital on life support, Omarosa was obsessed with his money and what would happen to it. She even says that Omarosa had sold many of his personal items before his death, including cars, watches, his “Green Mile” director’s chair, etc..
But Omarosa is saying that she did everything with the family’s knowledge. Also, Judy got $100,000 out of Duncan’s will, so she did get something.
According to Omarosa: “I don’t control the estate or the finances and Judy knows it. If you saw all of her emails and texts to me you would see that she is just trying to get money from me, and threatened going to press if I did not give it to her and that is a crime!”
